The IPM in Essen, Germany, was again a success! There was a lot of international attention for the automation of logistic greenhouse systems with use of our shuttle.
Maintenance SO Natural
SO Natural is currently the largest nursery of pot orchids in the world. The company covers 15 acres under glass and a shipping hall of 2 acres with a growing area on top.
Logiqs Agro has been assigned to rebuild and reorganise the workspace in the greenhouse at 48 Bredeweg (Moerkappele, the Netherlands). Our job is to make it suitable for a spacing system of four robots, delivered and placed by Flier Systems (Barendrecht, the Netherlands). Besides the robotic system of Flier, Logiqs Agro will install a new overhead crane and adjust the existing loaded container overhead crane.
With these adjustments, SO Natural will be more capable of achieving their motto, "Doing what the customer wants".
New department Piet Vijverberg
Piet Vijverberg in Monster, the Netherlands, a loyal customer of Logiqs Agro for many years, has become a familiar name within the Phalaenopsis, Dracaena and Dipladenia market. Vijverberg, trading under the brand name Star Quality ... By 5, has in recent years systematically expanded the container system.
This year we have another department converted from soil-grown to a department able to accommodate rolling containers.
With this expansion enables Piet Vijverberg to provide the growing market of Phalaenopsis the quality and sustainability where the name Star Quality ... By 5 stands for.
Certification Amazone Plants; congratulations!
We congratulate Amazone Plants with obtaining the eco-label for sustainable gardening! Amazone Plants is one of the pioneers in the field of Sustainable Horticulture, partly as a result of an optimal net cultivation area and our innovative way of watering with gutters in the containers.
Sierteelt (magazine) wrote (translated out of Dutch):
"The anthurium nursery Amazone Plants in Honselersdijk may use the Eco-label. The nursery has received Certificate of certifier SGS. The certificate requires high standards for fertilization, crop protection, water purification, waste handeling and packaging."
In week 49 of 2011, the Automatic Gable Car for the construction project of brothers Aldenhoff went on transport to Germany.
The fact that these machines are transported by road is taken into account during the engineering of our automatic vehicles. We know we are tied to specific dimensions. The cars and other machines are designed to be easily devided and re-attached without causing extra work on project site.
The project, which is put into operation in January 2012, is fully automated and will be managed by our Dat-A-Control software.
Maarel Orchids: Break through during construction
On December 2nd Maarel Orchids finalised the 1st phase of their new construction by adding 8000m2 to their greenhouse.
