At Bianchi Davis a complete new container system has been installed. A new model manual crane has been installed to economically move the containers around.

Bianchi Davis is a prominent orchid grower on Long Island near New York City. They are specialized in large waterfall orchids. They are well known for their quality. For the last expansion they chose Logiqs Agro not only for the quality of the container system but also the design and layout of the work area. This was accomplished together with Javo USA.

Because the work area surface was limited by the land area a very compact work system was designed. In the work area they can stack and de-stack containers with a manual overhead crane. Also they can pot, space, grade and do stacking in this area. Sales and shipping are done at the opposite end of the greenhouse.

Because of the well thought out design they have saved already numerous hours of labor. Also the space utilization in the greenhouse has improved because now they no longer have to do stacking and / or sorting in the greenhouse. Working in the work area has improved the ergonomic aspects of the production for the employees as well.
